TSN has been implementing its 2022/23 – 2024/25 Strategic Plan. A strategic plan is a key management tool for steering the long-term direction of TSN. Thus, it provides a sound basis for yearly planning and budgets that feed into the daily implementation of TSN activities. The Plan outlines the strategic direction that TSN intends to take during the referred period. This Plan has incorporated interventions to transform the operations of the company. TSN’s new vision, mission, and objectives have been revised to focus on the prevailing market conditions. The Plan addresses several issues for TSN, such as:-

(i) Set critical results and outcomes that TSN must strive to achieve in the next three years.

(ii) Establish the need to develop operational and financial sustainability.

(iii) Outline the issue of human resources development and motivation.

(iv) Enhance organizational, governance and management capacity to deliver on its mandate competitively

It is expected that this Plan will serve the following purposes:-

(i) tool for building the competitiveness of TSN;

(ii) tool for controlling organizational drifting from targets;

(iii) tool to guide resource mobilization and use from various stakeholders;

(iv) outline the key expectations of stakeholders;

(v) encourage forward-thinking within Management and Board levels; and

(vi) facilitate efficient utilization of resources, both human and non-human
