The South Korean Ambassador to Tanzania, Ms. Eunju Ahn, has paid a visit to the Tanzania Standard Newspaper (TSN) Limited headquarters today on 30th December 2024, located on Nelson Mandela Road in Dar es Salaam.

Ms. Ahn was warmly welcomed by TSN’s Managing Director, Asha Dachi, along with several members of the management team. The visit aimed to strengthen the bilateral ties between Tanzania and South Korea, specifically through the media sector.

During the meeting, Ms. Dachi gave an overview of how TSN collaborates with its partners, highlighting the importance of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs). In turn, the diplomat provided insights into the business, cultural, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives that the South Korean Embassy has been involved with in Tanzania.

She also expressed a keen interest in utilising TSN's publications, HabariLEO and DAILY NEWS, to share various cultural related activities to the wider audience.

As a gesture of appreciation for the visit and to further bolstering the partnership between two countries, Ms. Dachi presented a gift to Ambassador Ahn.

This visit marks a significant step in enhancing the diplomatic and media relationship between Tanzania and South Korea.
