The Managing Director of Tanzania Standard Newspapers (TSN), Ms. Asha Dachi, met with all company employees during a staff meeting held at the company's headquarters in Tazara, Dar es Salaam. The meeting aimed to review the implementation of the company's activities and discuss various issues related to institutional development and employee welfare.

During the meeting, Ms. Dachi presented a performance review of the company's operations for the second and third quarters of the 2025/2026 financial year. She also provided feedback on the staff meeting held in January this year and updated employees on the progress of the printing plant construction project, which is expected to enhance the company's printing capacity and service delivery.

Ms. Dachi commended all employees for their dedication, teamwork, and contribution towards achieving the company's objectives. She also presented certificates of recognition to outstanding employees from various departments and units in appreciation of their exceptional performance and commitment to their duties.

Addressing the staff, the Managing Director reaffirmed the company's commitment to addressing employees' challenges in order to create a more conducive working environment. She encouraged employees to remain committed to their responsibilities, embrace innovation, maintain discipline, and adhere to the laws, regulations, and procedures governing the Public Service.

Employees were also given an opportunity to ask questions and share their views on matters concerning the company's development and their welfare. The management responded to the questions raised and received the suggestions for further consideration and appropriate action.

The meeting forms part of TSN's ongoing efforts to strengthen internal communication, promote employee engagement, and advance the implementation of the company's strategic objectives.
