Senior online news journalist from Tanzania standard newspaper company TSN, Ms. Zaituni Mkwama, has won the award for Best Social Media Journalist for her reporting on weather issues, today, October 16, 2025.

Speaking after presenting the award, the Chairman of the Board of the Tanzania Meteorological Authority, Judge Mshibe Bakari, urged journalists to ensure they are professionally knowledgeable about what they report so that the intended audience receives accurate and reliable information.
