The Managing Director of the Tanzania Standard Newspapers Company (TSN), Asha Dachi, has expressed her gratitude to the Universal Communications Service Access Fund (UCSAF) for facilitating the construction of a modern digital studio for the company. She also pledged to strengthen the ongoing partnership with the fund, which operates under the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
Dachi made these remarks on April 30 in Parliament, in Dodoma City, following the conclusion of the day’s parliamentary sessions, during which the Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Angellah Kairuki, presented the Ministry budget speech and requested Parliament’s approval of TZS 222.6 billion for the 2026/2027 financial year.
She further noted that the completion of the studio will create more opportunities for young people, while also enhancing media convergence within TSN by integrating its media outlets Daily News, HabariLEO, and Daily News Digital.
