The Managing Director of the Tanzania Standard Newspapers (TSN), Ms. Asha Dachi, has chaired the first quarter meeting for the 2025/2026 financial year, held at the company’s headquarters in Tazara, Dar es Salaam, on October 22, 2025.

With all that has been presented during the meeting, Ms. Dachi highlighted the significant progress made in implementing various development projects, notably the construction of a modern printing plant, which has reached 61.2% completion, while equipment procurement stands at 80%.

She expressed appreciation to the Government through the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports for its continued support in enabling TSN to undertake these strategic projects aimed at enhancing productivity and innovation.

Ms. Dachi urged all TSN employees to remain disciplined, committed, and punctual to strengthen teamwork and improve operational efficiency. Staff members also had the opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and receive clarifications on various matters discussed during the meeting.
