The Tanzania standard Newspapers Company (TSN) held a meeting with the Xinhua News Agency, led by the agency’s Director, Mr. Lyu Yansong, accompanied by other delegates from the agency today, November 17, 2025, at TSN headquarters in Temeke, Dar es Salaam.

TSN’s Managing Director, Ms. Asha Dachi, said that the cooperation between TSN and Xinhua has enabled the institution to access accurate international articles and information, thereby enhancing the quality and breadth of its news coverage.

She added that this long-standing partnership has strengthened access to information from China and Asia, as well as facilitated the exchange of professional skills between journalists from Tanzania and China. She emphasized that TSN continues to benefit from Xinhua’s expertise in technology, data analysis, and modern journalism.

Dachi also expressed her gratitude to the Chinese Embassy for sponsoring the TSN Academy programs and the Elimika magazine.

For his part, Lyu Yansong said that Xinhua will continue to strengthen this cooperation to provide accurate news and promote education and professional exchange.
